Hi, I’m Annika, the head researcher and co-founder for SheCan BC. I have seen firsthand of how women close to me are exploited and stereotyped. Gender inequality has become a deep rooted issue and I hope that through our project we are able to empower, inform, and contribute to the fight for gender equality.
Erica Ying
Web Designer & Co-Founder
Hello, my name is Erica Ying and I am the web designer and Co-founder for the team. One of the social issues that couldn’t concern me more is the extreme gender equality around the globe. Because this affects me and the people around me directly I believe SheCan can help inform, raise awareness, and hopefully encourage people who are passionate about gender in equality to act.
Rayi Zou
Communications Executive & Researcher
Hi, I am Rayi. At SheCanBC, I work as a Communication Executive and play a part in research. Hearing about gender inequality, specifically towards women and girls, from peers around me has empowered me to become involved in doing what I can to support equality. I believe that as a team, we at SheCanBC truly can incite change for the present and future!
